The Permatex 81833 Heavy Duty Rubberized Undercoating is formulated to offer excellent protection and coverage. Its rubberized composition provides maximum durability while sealing, protecting, and insulating surfaces it is applied to. This all-purpose undercoating combines flexibility with a superior coating thickness for robust performance. This product is ideal for both home and shop applications. Suggested uses include protecting automotive frames, rocker panels, and wheel wells. Beyond automotive applications, it can also be used for sealing gutters, roofs, and drain systems, as well as for tree pruning and sound deadening. As indicated by related product information for similar 3M undercoatings, some products in this category may have specific application notes.
