The ACT Heavy Duty SB2-HDSS is a performance street sprung clutch kit. It features ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load and reduce deflection. The Performance Street disc uses premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and durability.

This kit includes a clutch friction disc, alignment tool, pilot bearing, release bearing, and pressure plate. The pressure plate has precision cover stampings for rigidity and consistency, and its diaphragms undergo a four-stage heat-treating process.

The ACT Heavy Duty SB2-HDSS is a performance street sprung clutch kit designed to replace your stock clutch with enhanced capabilities. It features ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. This pressure plate's diaphragms are subjected to a four-stage heat-treating process for superior performance, while its precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency. The accompanying Performance Street disc is constructed with premium organic materials and a high copper content, enhancing heat transfer and offering greater burst strength and durability. The disc features a reduced marcel for quicker shift action, complementing the ACT pressure plate for increased strength and reliability. This kit is engineered to handle a torque capacity of 312 ft-lbs, representing a 42% increase over OE specifications. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary components for installation: the Clutch Friction Disc, Clutch Alignment Tool, Clutch Pilot Bearing, Clutch Release Bearing, and Clutch Pressure Plate. It is backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
