Overview

The Emperor Racing Heavy Duty Skid Plate is a premium protection accessory for off-road motorcycles. Constructed from 3/16″ thick aluminum with hand-Tig welded wings and aluminum mounting brackets, this skid plate offers robust protection. It features high-grade metric fasteners and includes foam tape for a snug, vibration-free fit between the frame and the plate.

It is manufactured from 3/16″ thick high-grade aluminum, making it arguably the strongest skid plate available. The hand-Tig welded wings feature an engraved Emperor scorpion logo for a distinct aesthetic. This skid plate offers both side and bottom protection against impacts, ensuring critical components are shielded during rough terrain. It includes aluminum machined brackets and high-grade metric hardware for a secure installation. To further enhance the fit and eliminate vibrations, 1/4″ thick x 3/4″ wide foam tape is provided for placement between the frame and the skid plate. A plastic slip liner with a beaver tail link guard (CRFL-2341) is available separately for added protection. Replacement parts, including frame hooks and mounting bolts, are also available directly from Emperor Racing. This heavy-duty skid plate is proudly made in Canada and weighs approximately 4 pounds. It is designed for specific Honda CRF450L, CRF450RL, and CRF450X models from 2019 through 2026. Note that a foam block is not supplied due to the cooling system overflow bottle located under the engine.
