Description

The Dobinsons TB21-1550 Heavy Duty Torsion Bar Set is engineered to enhance the performance and stance of 4x4 vehicles, especially those equipped with front-end accessories. This upgrade prevents the common issues of sagging suspension, poor handling, and compromised off-road performance that can occur with stock components under load. The increased spring rate ensures improved handling, maintains ride height, and offers greater reliability, while also reducing suspension bottoming. They are directionally preset and 'scragged' to prevent sagging and breakage under load. The bars are finished with a durable, thick powder coat for corrosion resistance and feature cold-rolled splines for enhanced strength and a secure fit. Installation requires ensuring 2/3 suspension down travel and 1/3 up travel for optimal ride quality. It is crucial to install the torsion bars on the correct sides (left/right, front/rear) as indicated, as incorrect installation can lead to damage.
