Heavy Duty Trunnion Kit

The Summit Racing™ LS Series retrofit trunnion kits are engineered as a robust solution for LS engines that have been modified with higher lift camshafts and heavier valve springs. These kits provide the heaviest duty trunnions available for stock-style rocker arms, ensuring enhanced durability and performance under demanding conditions. Constructed from micro-polished, hardened steel, these trunnions are built to withstand significant stress. They incorporate C932 bronze bushings for smooth operation and longevity. The design is specifically intended for use with stock-style rocker arms and can accommodate both Rectangle and Cathedral Port cylinder heads, making them suitable for Gen. 3 and 4 Chevy LS engines. The set includes 16 trunnions, enough for a complete engine, and is designed to be compatible with OEM rocker arm bolts. For proper installation, Summit Racing also offers specialized trunnion installation tools (SUM-141560-IK), sold separately.
