Heavy VQ35 Clutch Kit

The ACT Heavy Duty Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit (NZ1-HDSS) is designed for modified daily-driven vehicles, offering a significant upgrade over the stock clutch for the 2003-2006 Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 with the VQ35 engine. This kit features ACT's popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, which provides increased clamp load to handle increased power, coupled with a Performance Street sprung disc. The disc utilizes premium organic materials with high copper content for improved heat transfer and a steel-backed lining for enhanced burst strength. Its design ensures smooth, progressive engagement suitable for daily driving, avoiding the abruptness often associated with race-oriented clutch discs. ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate is engineered with precision cover stampings and a four-stage heat-treated diaphragm, calibrated to deliver substantial clamp load without an excessive increase in pedal effort. The clutch disc features a chrome-moly hub, heat-treated for durability under repeated heat cycles. The kit is application-specific, ensuring correct disc diameter, pressure plate sizing, and disc specification for optimal fitment and performance, rather than relying on adaptations from universal designs. This kit is capable of handling up to 455 ft-lbs of torque and offers a clamp load increase of approximately 0.3 over OEM. It includes the ACT pressure plate, ACT clutch disc, hardware, an alignment tool, and installation instructions.
