Description

The FK Automotive SMVW9010 is a height-adjustable coilover suspension kit designed to enhance the performance and aesthetics of your VW Golf 6 1K (2008-2012). This kit provides an ideal entry point into vehicle tuning, offering a sportier and more decisive driving experience. Constructed from galvanized steel for durability and corrosion resistance, the SMVW9010 coilover kit allows for individual height adjustment within a tested range, typically between 25-80mm depending on the vehicle. The kit is designed to lower the vehicle by approximately 35-65mm. It requires a front strut clamp diameter of 55mm and has a maximum load capacity of 1170 kg on the front axle and 1220 kg on the rear axle. FK Automotive has a long-standing reputation, with their coilover kits being utilized successfully for nearly 25 years. They are recognized for their quality, sport-tuned suspension configurations, and excellent value. This specific kit is TUV approved and includes a parts certificate (§19.3) for easier compliance. It also comes with shortened coupling rods (FKKSS06) and includes a hook wrench for adjustment, along with mounting instructions.
