Overview

They feature easily accessible adjustment knobs for fine-tuning compression and rebound damping, along with independently adjustable ride height. The patented concave lower locking ring ensures the ride height remains secure, and adjustment is made by altering the shock body position, which maintains ideal damper stroke at all levels.

Show original supplier description

These systems feature a mono-tube shock design and a proprietary digressive piston for increased damping force at low piston velocities, enhancing driver feel during dynamic maneuvers like roll, pitch, and weight transitions. Adjustability is a key feature, with 30 levels of simultaneous compression and rebound damping adjustment accessible via simple knobs. Ride height is independently adjustable via the shock body, ensuring the full damper stroke is maintained regardless of how low or high the vehicle is set. This allows for precise tuning of corner weighting to achieve optimal balance and tire efficiency. For enhanced steering response and feedback, pillowball mounts are standard on applicable kits, with camber adjustment available on top mounts where vehicle design permits. Corrosion protection is provided through black chrome steel, anodized aluminum components, and electrophoretic disposition followed by powder coating on steel lower mounts. All DS Series coilovers are fully rebuildable with readily available parts and come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Optional assister springs can be purchased to customize wheel droop for specific applications.
