These control arms feature urethane bushings for reduced deflection and include zerk fittings for easy greasing.

The Chaos Fabrication Heim Pivot Upper Control Arms are designed for off-road use and offer a 100% bolt-on installation for 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runners and 1996-2004 Tacomas. Constructed from 1.75" 130 chromoly tubing, these arms are handcrafted in the U.S.A. The system utilizes CNC-machined slug adapters that press into the spindle, converting the factory ball joint to a robust 1" uniball. This setup enhances component strength and maximizes wheel travel, with the upper control arms potentially allowing for up to 1" of additional travel when combined with extended length coilover shocks. These upper control arms feature 1" I.D. uniballs with heat-treated stainless steel balls and races for superior corrosion resistance and longevity. A military-grade PTFE woven fabric liner within the uniballs helps to prevent noise. Custom-profile upper and lower hi-misalignment spacers, machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel, are included to further maximize droop wheel travel. The urethane bushings used in the pivots offer reduced deflection compared to stock rubber bushings and feature zerk fittings for convenient greasing of the bushings and inner sleeves without disassembly. The arms are finished using a two-stage powder coat process, including a durable clear coat for a long-lasting appearance. A complete Grade 8 hardware kit is included for installation. It is important to note that these control arms are not compatible with lift kits from Tuff Country.
