The RV6 Performance Beta Helical Cut 3rd+4th Gear Set provides an affordable solution for the known weakness in the 3rd and 4th gears of the 2016 and newer L15B 1.5T FWD transmission. This upgrade features revised gear ratios, increasing the 4th gear ratio from 1.0124 to 1.055 and decreasing the 3rd gear ratio from 1.361 to 1.313, optimizing performance. Installation of this gear set requires specific modifications to ensure proper function and avoid damage. A speedometer corrector module is necessary to maintain accurate speed readings due to the altered gear ratios. Additionally, the speed sensor must be shimmed by 3.75mm to prevent any contact with the 3rd gear. This gear set is explicitly designed for the 2016+ Honda Civic with the L15B 1.5T engine and FWD transmission. It is also noted to fit the 2018-2022 Honda Accord with the L15B 1.5T MT.
