Helical Gear Differential

The Wavetrac differential is a state-of-the-art helical gear differential, designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA by Autotech Driveline. It features patented technology that mitigates wheelspin during unloaded wheel conditions, maintaining drive on the gripping wheel by creating internal load. This advanced design ensures superior traction compared to traditional open differentials. Constructed with super strong 9310 alloy steel gears housed within case-hardened steel bodies and secured with ARP fasteners, this differential is built for durability. It is compatible with GM F40 FWD 6MT transmissions and is available exclusively in North America from Over The Top Performance. This specific part number, 57.309.190WK, is noted for its application in the Astra J VXR & OPC 6MT from 2012 onwards, and the Vectra C VXR/OPC 6MT. Installation may require specific modifications. For the GM F40 FWD 6MT, two special C-clips are included, and an OEM stub shaft C-clip groove modification is necessary to accept these clips. C6 Z06 owners may also need a special (3mm wider) Timken bearing, sold separately. Wavetrac differentials come with a transferable, Limited Lifetime Warranty.
