Helical Gear Differential

The Wavetrac differential is a state-of-the-art helical gear differential designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA by Autotech Driveline. During zero axle load situations, the Wavetrac cam device functions to create internal load. This mechanism ensures that drive is continuously maintained on the gripping wheel, preventing the common issue of going nowhere that plagues open differentials. This particular differential is designed for the Chevrolet Corvette C5 and C6 models with automatic transmissions. Two special C-clips are included with the unit. Please note that an OEM Stub Shaft C-clip groove modification is required to accept these special C-clips. Additionally, C6 Z06 owners will need to source one special (3mm wider) Timken bearing (part # 387A-382-S), which is not included with this differential. This differential comes with a transferable, Limited Lifetime Warranty, reflecting the manufacturer's confidence in its durability and performance.
