This specific Wavetrac differential (model 40.309.170WK) is designed to fit the Porsche 944 from 1986 and up, including turbo models. It also fits Audi Front applications such as the Coupe GT, 4000 Quattro, and Quattro Coupe with the 016/093 5-speed manual transmission. It is important to note that Porsche 944 turbo and turbo S models equipped with an OEM LSD and the trans oil cooler option will require a conversion to an open-diff style drive gear (part number 016.115.165A and rollpin N.100.792.01). An included bearing spacer is necessary for the small end side of the differential on some models.
