During zero axle load conditions, the Wavetrac cam device generates internal load, ensuring drive is maintained on the gripping wheel rather than allowing it to act like an open differential. The internal gears are constructed from high-strength 9310 alloy steel, and the diff bodies are precisely machined from case-hardened steel billet.
