Helical Gear Limited Slip Differential

Designed from the ground up, this differential utilizes advanced gear technology optimized for strength and superior oil film retention. Its compact gear package reduces overall mass while increasing durability, with particular attention paid to the critical side gear/axle interface for high-power applications. This helical gear differential is manufactured in the USA by Autotech Driveline. It incorporates Wavetrac's patented technology, which uniquely addresses wheelspin during unloaded wheel conditions. Unlike conventional differentials, the Wavetrac cam device actively creates internal load when axle load is zero, ensuring drive is maintained on the gripping wheel rather than allowing the vehicle to become immobile. ARP ring gear bolts are included, requiring a torque of 85 ft-lbs and Loctite 242. It is recommended to use 6 quarts of VW Audi DSG Oil. It fits Audi models such as the A3 8P (2005-2013) 2.0T FSI/TSI (Quattro and certain FWD with VAQ), A3 8V (2014-2020) 2.0T Quattro Sedan, S3 8V (2015-2020) 2.0T Sedan, TT Mk2 (2008-2015) 2.0T TSI Quattro, TT-S Mk2 (2009-2015) 2.0T, and TT-S Mk3 (2016+) 2.0T. It also fits Volkswagen models including the Mk6 Golf R (2012-2013) 2.0T, Mk7 Golf R (2015-2017) 2.0T, and Mk7.5 Golf R (2018-2021) 2.0T. Additionally, it fits Mk7 GTI models equipped with the factory Performance Pack VAQ Electronic Differential.
