The MFactory Helical LSD (MF-TRS-05RD1) is engineered to enhance the drivetrain performance of your Honda CR-V AWD with a B-series engine. This torque-biasing differential ensures optimal power distribution to both wheels, maximizing traction for street, strip, or track applications. It is constructed from imported Japanese SAE 4320 and SAE 9310 steel, forged, double-tempered, and super sub-zero treated for exceptional toughness. The advanced shot peening technology further increases surface hardness, making it capable of withstanding extreme shock loads. Designed using advanced Solidworks 3D CAD and Cosmos FEA software, the MFactory Helical LSD features advanced gear geometry that minimizes parasitic drivetrain losses, potentially transferring 1-2% more power to the ground compared to competitors. The v2 design is noted for being lighter, stronger, and more efficient. It offers lock-free operation, ensuring no adverse effect on steering response, and is maintenance-free, eliminating the need for special fluids or rebuilds associated with plate-type LSDs. Fitment notes indicate that for Honda B16A2 applications previously equipped with an OEM Viscous LSD, a Ring Gear change will be required. Additionally, for Honda B16A/B18C/K20A Stage 2 applications, this LSD is specifically designed for use with DSS Pro Level 28 Spline Axles and will NOT work with OEM axles. The product comes with a lifetime, globally transferable warranty, provided the LSD is professionally installed and not disassembled. New differential bearings are highly recommended at the time of installation.
