The Wavetrac 44.309.181WK is a state-of-the-art helical gear limited slip differential engineered for Nissan 350Z and 370Z manual transmission vehicles. Designed and manufactured in the USA by Autotech Driveline, this differential offers advanced traction control by mitigating wheelspin during unloaded wheel conditions. Its unique, patent-pending technology actively creates internal load on the gripping wheel, ensuring drive is maintained even when one wheel is unloaded, unlike traditional open differentials. Construction of the Wavetrac differential involves high-strength materials, including super strong 9310 alloy steel gears housed within robust case-hardened steel bodies. All components are secured with ARP fasteners, ensuring durability and reliability for demanding driving scenarios. Fitment is specific to manual transmission 350Z models from 2003-2008 and 370Z models from 2009-2010, and also compatible with the Infiniti G35 M/T. Please note that specific axle flange replacements are required depending on the original differential type: vehicles with an OEM viscous LSD will need Nissan part #38220-AR011 for the 350Z (RH side) or #38220-JK01B for the 370Z (RH side). For vehicles with an OEM open differential, both axle flanges will need to be replaced with the corresponding Nissan part numbers (#38220-AR011 for 350Z, #38220-JK01B for 370Z).
