The Direct Connection Hellephant A30 is a 426 Supercharged Crate HEMI engine designed to deliver extreme performance, boasting 1,000 hp and 950 lb.-ft. of torque. This powerhouse features a robust construction including a newly designed GEN III aluminum HEMI engine block with 6-bolt main metal caps, a high-performance 4340 forged steel 8-counterweight crankshaft, and forged aluminum pistons. It's equipped with an upgraded IHI 3.0L twin-screw supercharger with a 3.17-inch pulley, Injector Dynamics 1050 injectors, and high-performance 356 aluminum cylinder heads. The engine's specifications include a 4.125 in. bore x 4.000 in. stroke, a 9.5:1 compression ratio, and a peak RPM of 6800, with a recommendation for premium fuel. For plug-and-play installation, the Hellephant A30 requires the Hellephant A30 Engine Controller Kit (P/N: 77072500AE), which is sold separately. This specific controller kit contains revised engine calibration crucial for optimal performance and durability. Importantly, prior engine controller kits are not compatible with this A30 engine. This Hellephant engine can be installed in any pre-1976 vehicle when paired with the recommended "plug and play" engine kit.
