This kit requires tuning or can be optioned with a Throttle Republic RTD4 device to save on tuning time and cost.

The Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) 2009+ Gen III HEMI MDS Conversion Kit provides a solution to remove the factory's Multi-Displacement System, which is known for its potential failures. This kit is engineered to work with Gen III HEMI engines from 2009 onwards, allowing for a more reliable and potentially higher-performing engine configuration. Installation of this kit necessitates engine tuning. For added convenience and cost savings, BTR offers the option to bundle the kit with Throttle Republic's RTD4 device, which can streamline the tuning process. The kit itself includes various components such as Mopar or Johnson lifters, BTR or Mopar head gaskets, exhaust gaskets, head fasteners (ARP, Mopar, Mahle, or Point One), valve cover gaskets, timing cover gasket, front crank seal, water pump gasket, MDS block-off plugs, crank bolt, cam bolt, a non-MDS camshaft, and drop-in valve springs. Mahle intake gaskets are also included. It is important to note that tuning is a required post-installation step for this conversion kit. The option to include the Throttle Republic RTD4 device with tuning credits is available to simplify this requirement.
