Overview

The Powerflex rear upper and lower arm outer bushing is a high-performance replacement component for select BMW E36 and E46 3 Series, Z4, and X3 models.

Part of the Heritage Collection, these bushings feature a dark grey finish that mimics the appearance of original equipment components while delivering the performance advantages of polyurethane. Each set includes two bushings, and to service both the upper and lower control arm positions, two sets are required.

The Powerflex rear upper and lower arm outer bushing serves as a performance-oriented replacement for worn factory suspension components. By replacing soft, original equipment rubber bushings with advanced polyurethane, this product reduces unwanted arm deflection, leading to more predictable handling and improved suspension feedback under load. These bushings are part of the Powerflex Heritage Collection, which utilizes a dark grey color to maintain a subtle, factory-like aesthetic for owners who prefer an OEM look while benefiting from modern material upgrades. The kit is engineered for specific BMW chassis, including the E36 and E46 3 Series, Z4 (E85, E86, E89), and X3 (E83). Each purchase includes a pack of two bushings. Please note that to fully service both the rear upper and rear lower control arm positions on your vehicle, you will need to purchase two complete sets. These bushings are compatible with various trims across the referenced chassis, including M3 and CSL variants.
