Description

This high-performance timing set offers infinitely adjustable camshaft timing. It's a double roller design and requires the use of two oil pump spacers (included with 9-3159A) due to its wider configuration compared to original equipment timing sets. Installation instructions emphasize proper cleaning, keyway selection, thrust bearing installation, and careful camshaft timing adjustment to avoid damage. Torque specifications for cam sprocket mounting bolts are 300 in-lb (25 ft-lb). Adequate lubrication is crucial for the longevity of the timing set.
