Remanufactured axle assembly for Chrysler 8.25" rear end in 1989 Dodge 1/2 Ton D100 and D150 2WD trucks with a 2.71 gear ratio. Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to high-quality standards, with thorough inspection of straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are 100% replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Axle tubes are inspected to ensure OEM standards of straightness. The assembly undergoes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning.
