The Cloyes Hex-A-Just True Roller Timing Chain Kit, part number 9-3100D, is an infinitely adjustable system (to +/- 6 degrees) designed for cam timing adjustments without requiring machining or offset bushings. The sprockets are machined from premium billet steel using state-of-the-art CNC equipment, then induction hardened and oil-quenched through a multi-stage heat treat process. The kit features a Premium True Roller chain for superior strength with full roller action. Its side plates are cut and shaved from high-strength steel and heat-treated for maximum fatigue resistance. The 0.250" rollers are "cold rolled" and hardened to exacting standards, increasing load and RPM capabilities. For Chevrolet applications, a patented "cheater" sprocket tooth profile provides improved chain wrap and smoother transition. This kit is designed to save valuable setup time, especially when combined with a Quick Button Two Piece Timing Cover.
