They are TÜV and ECE R 90 approved for street use and include perforated stainless steel backing plates to reduce heat and noise.

With an ultra-high HH friction rating, these pads offer superior stopping performance, tested and approved by TÜV and ECE R 90 standards for street use. These pads are constructed from a sintered copper alloy, providing excellent performance in all weather conditions, whether hot or cold, wet or dry. They offer a strong initial bite and consistent stopping power throughout their long lifespan. EBC's Double-H pads are unique in that they do not contain iron powder, preventing corrosion-related issues like the pad welding to the disc. Each set includes pads for one rotor. Manufactured in the USA, these sintered pads are direct replacements for many motorcycles that come with factory-installed sintered pads. To ensure optimal performance and safety, it is crucial to confirm fitment for your specific motorcycle. The manufacturer notes that professional installation is required, as brake components are critical to safety and improper installation can lead to serious issues. Additionally, a safety warning advises against using HH pads on the rear unless also used on the front to avoid brake imbalance.
