This performance clutch kit increases the clamping force by 25% compared to the original equipment, ensuring better power transfer to the drivetrain. Its design promotes quicker clutch engagement, which effectively limits clutch slippage and contributes to a longer clutch lifespan. Drivers will experience a more precise pedal feel, providing better control during gear changes, all while maintaining the factory pedal effort. This makes the Dinan Hi-Clamp Clutch Kit an excellent choice for replacing a worn clutch or for drivers who have increased their vehicle's power output beyond the stock clutch's capabilities. This kit is compatible with a stock flywheel or the Dinan Stage 1 Lightweight Flywheel. However, it's important to note that using a stock flywheel will require machining for clearance. Lightweight flywheels purchased after October 2011 will not require this modification. Dinan highly recommends pairing this clutch kit with their Lightweight Flywheel for optimal performance. Please be aware that this kit does NOT include the release/throwout bearing or installation hardware. Dinan strongly advises replacing the release/throwout bearing, clutch fork, and slave cylinder during a clutch replacement. Compatible BMW OEM parts are recommended for these components.
