The Forge Motorsport Hi-Flow Carbon Intake is engineered to enhance airflow and improve efficiency and performance for 1.2 and 1.4 TSI engines with 138-150 BHP. This intake system is part of the Forge Hi-Flow range and is constructed from 100% carbon fiber, utilizing a strong, tight weave formed by Autoclave Pre Preg processes for durability and a premium aesthetic. The kit includes a carbon fibre housing, a billet machined coupler for a precise fit, and a larger bore, high-flow silicone hose, replacing the restrictive OE inlet pipe. A cleanable Pipercross air filter is included, offering a high-flow design with no need for replacement. The intake hose is available in multiple color options including blue, black, or clear, and all necessary hose clamps are included. This intake is designed to work in conjunction with the FMDV1 dump valve and fitting kit; when used as a standalone product, the turbo inlet hose might require trimming to prevent creasing against the adjacent OE charge pipe. Before purchasing, it is crucial to verify that your vehicle's intake configuration matches the provided photographs to ensure compatibility. Please note that this product specifically *does not fit* the Golf GTE model; for that application, please refer to part number FMINDK14-GTE. Additionally, the included Pipercross air filter is excluded from the Forge Motorsport limited lifetime warranty.
