The GForce GF-MS-LS is a hi-torque mini starter specifically engineered for Chevrolet LS series engines manufactured between 1997 and 2020. This starter is designed to provide robust performance for a wide range of LS applications, including Gen 3 and Gen 4 Vortec truck engines. At its core, the GF-MS-LS boasts a high-torque motor with integrated gear reduction, delivering a powerful 3 horsepower to ensure reliable engine cranking. Its construction features high-strength steel gears, making it suitable for both small and big block engines with compression ratios up to 11:1. The billet aluminum mounting block ensures a precise fit for all compatible LS engines. Further enhancing its usability, the starter features an indexable design, which is crucial for providing additional clearance needed for long tube headers, a common challenge in LS engine swaps.
