The Hardrace HICAS Removal Kit is engineered to eliminate Nissan's active rear wheel steering system, commonly known as HICAS, from the 4th generation Fairlady Z32 (1989-2000). The HICAS system, while intended to assist with steering, can often interfere with precise driver input, particularly during demanding high-speed performance driving. This kit provides a comprehensive solution by removing the original steering rack, along with its associated troublesome arms and ball joints. Included in this 5-piece set are adjustable toe arms featuring pillow ball joints for enhanced adjustability and responsiveness. Additionally, hardened rubber knuckle bushings with a 31mm outer diameter are provided to ensure durability and maintain proper suspension geometry after the HICAS system is removed.
