The Rockford Fosgate PMX-6BB is a hide-away digital media receiver engineered for marine applications, designed to integrate seamlessly with compatible Multi-Function Displays (MFDs) via NMEA 2000 connectivity. This unit offers complete audio control, allowing users to manage their system through their boat's MFD, the optional PMX-8DH display head, or up to three PMX-1R remotes. At its core, the PMX-6BB boasts an internal 200-watt amplifier, sufficient to power up to eight speakers without the need for an external amplifier. It provides dual-zone audio control, allowing independent management of volume and equalization for each zone, ensuring a personalized listening experience. Bass management is further refined with independent subwoofer level control, allowing precise tuning without affecting other speaker settings. The system is also SiriusXM-Ready®, requiring the SXV300 module for satellite radio functionality. Built to endure the elements, the PMX-6BB is Rockford's Element Ready™ product, constructed to resist water, vibration, and UV rays. It supports various audio sources including AM/FM/WB radio, Bluetooth streaming (A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, PBAP, SPP profiles), Pandora, and playback of MP3, WMA, and FLAC files from USB devices. The unit also features a 7-band graphic equalizer per zone, selectable high-pass and low-pass crossovers, and an integrated voltage gauge with a low-voltage alert. The display head is sold separately.
