The Rockford Fosgate PMX-8BB is a hide-away digital media receiver black box designed for integration with the PMX-8DH controller. It offers CANbus functionality for connection to NMEA2K systems via the PMX-CAN adapter. This receiver includes a global AM/FM/WB tuner and is SiriusXM Ready, providing access to a wide array of satellite radio channels. The PMX-8BB boasts full iOS and Android compatibility and is Made for iPod, ensuring seamless connection and music playback from your devices. It features dual USB inputs that support video playback and Bluetooth AVRCP 1.5 for wireless music streaming and control. With 2-Source Zone Control and 4-Zone Volume Control, you can customize your audio experience across different areas. For superior audio quality, the PMX-8BB includes 6-channel F/R/S 4V Zone 1&2 Pre-outs and 2-channel Zone 3&4 4V Pre-outs. It also features a 7-Band Graphic Equalizer and Punch EQ for precise audio tuning, complemented by dedicated DSP audio processors for each zone. Durability is key with an epoxy-coated circuit board and an IPX5 Water Intrusion Rating, making it resistant to water projected from any direction. This unit requires the PMX-8DH controller for operation.
