Description

It is engineered with a "Full Moulding" system, creating a single, durable piece without weak welded joints. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil, protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to prevent degradation from petrol fumes and humidity. This high-performance filter offers increased airflow compared to standard filters, without compromising filtration efficiency. It can capture impurities down to 7 microns, an improvement over the OEM's 10-micron capability. The filter is washable and can be regenerated using a BMC regeneration kit, offering long-term value. The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems is known for its durability and excellent adhesion, ensuring a proper seal within various airboxes. The filter material is Oiled Cotton Gauze, and it comes with a 2-year limited warranty. It is cross-referenced with MERCEDES-BENZ part numbers 2640940100 and A2640940100.
