Manufactured to meet or exceed stringent quality requirements, this gear is designed as a direct replacement or as part of a complete timing kit. It features a robust high alloy steel construction, 27 teeth, and precise specifications including an inside diameter of 1.230 inches and an outside diameter of 3.125 inches. Melling offers comprehensive timing solutions, including individual gears and sprockets, as well as complete timing chain kits. This ensures that you have all the necessary components for a quality engine rebuild. The gear is made in the USA, reflecting a commitment to domestic manufacturing and quality control. Regarding warranty, Melling Replacement Parts come with a 12-month limited warranty, while High Performance Parts are provided without warranty (will be replaced for defect only). The warranty does not apply to products that have been altered, misused, or subjected to excessive operating conditions, including those used for off-road or racing purposes. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act ensures that vehicle manufacturers cannot void your warranty solely due to the use of an aftermarket part unless they can prove it caused the failure.
