High-Capacity Top Mount Intercooler

The intercooler core itself is larger than the factory unit, providing improved charge cooling capacity. It is designed to work with stock calibrations or COBB Stage 1 Off The Shelf (OTS) maps, meaning tuning changes are not strictly required for its installation. However, for optimal performance and to fully leverage the intercooler's capabilities, utilizing COBB Accessport TMIC OTS maps is recommended. A crucial component for a complete installation is the charge pipe kit, which is required but sold separately. The included COBB Thrust Tunnel, constructed from wrinkle black powder coated aluminum, attaches to the factory hood ducting to maximize airflow directly through the intercooler core. This intercooler is designed as a direct replacement for the 2022-2026 Subaru WRX. It is 50-state legal with CARB Executive Order numbers D-660-119, D-660-154, D-660-188, D-660-244, and D-660-309.
