Overview

The VAGSport High-Discharge Ignition Coils are a direct replacement upgrade for OEM factory coils. These upgraded coils produce a higher and more consistent voltage output, resulting in a more reliable spark plug function. They are suitable for standard cars and can be used on Stage 3+ vehicles without additional modifications.

These coils are suitable for a wide range of applications, from stock vehicles to highly modified Stage 3+ builds, with no other modifications required for most installations. They provide up to a 13.45% increase in amps and a 2,600 Volt increase over standard OEM ignition coils. The coils feature a vibrant red casing for an enhanced under-bonnet aesthetic. Compatibility is extensive, covering EA211, EA888 Gen.3/4, EA855 EVO, and EA839 engines. However, specific engines require attention: the 1.0T, 1.2T, and 1.4T EA211 variants are not direct plug-and-play and require swapping rubber connectors from stock coilpacks. Additionally, the 2.5T EA855 EVO is NOT suitable for the 8V pre-facelift/8P RS3 models. These coils are sold individually, and customers must determine the correct number required for their specific engine. While confirmed fitment is provided for numerous Audi models, customers are responsible for verifying compatibility for their exact vehicle.
