The Verus Engineering High Efficiency Rear Wing Kit is a significant upgrade for your Subaru BRZ or Toyota GR86, engineered to substantially increase rear downforce. This enhancement aims to improve driver confidence during track use and contribute to lower lap times. Developed using ANSYS' adjoint solver and refined with wind tunnel testing, the wing features an optimized airfoil profile for high efficiency and substantial downforce generation. Its swan neck mounting style ensures clean airflow to the wing, maximizing its effectiveness compared to typical bottom-mount designs. The low drag force generated is particularly well-suited for the ZN8/ZD8 chassis, allowing for increased corner speeds without a considerable impact on straight-line speed or street-use MPG. Constructed from 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon, autoclave-cured with an automotive high-gloss clear coat, the wing assembly is both durable and aesthetically pleasing. The mounting kit components are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for a precise fit and finish, complemented by stainless hardware throughout the assembly. The kit includes all necessary parts for a seamless installation, with templates provided. This wing is capable of generating and withstanding over 300 lbs of downforce and is sized to complement front aerodynamic packages, such as Verus Engineering's own Front Splitter Kit.
