The BMC High-Flow air filter, model FB01046, is engineered as a direct replacement for your vehicle's OEM air filter, installing seamlessly into the factory airbox. Its construction features a "Full Moulding" system, creating a durable, single-piece unit without weak welded joints. The filter material consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, treated with a low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, which shields against petrol fumes and humidity. It guarantees the containment of impurities down to 7 microns, surpassing the typical 10-micron OEM specification. The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems is noted for its longevity, durability, and excellent adhesion to various airbox shapes, ensuring a secure fit.
