Description

The Racing Beat 56502 is a high-flow air intake kit designed for the 1999-2005 Mazda Miata (non-turbo). It combines a low-restriction, reusable K&N air filter with a polished aluminum casting for smoother airflow into the factory air meter assembly. The assembly is engineered by Racing Beat and positions the filter behind the headlamp, replacing the stock air box.

This intake kit is CARB-exempt (E.O. D-450-6), making it legal for street use in emissions-regulated areas. Installation is straightforward, typically taking about half an hour, and detailed instructions are included. The unit is compatible with Miatas equipped with ABS, though it may require relocating the windshield wiper fluid reservoir.
