Description

The Racing Beat High Flow Air Intake Kit is designed to enhance the performance of 1994-1997 Mazda Miatas by optimizing airflow. This assembly utilizes a low-restriction K&N air filter and a polished aluminum elbow to create a more efficient path for intake air, resulting in measurable improvements to both throttle response and engine output. This unit is CARB-exempt, making it legal for street use in California. Each kit comes with all necessary hardware, including components to re-position the factory cruise control actuator for a streamlined installation using basic hand tools. While the intake is a popular upgrade, compatibility with aftermarket shock tower braces remains uncertain due to the high variety of designs on the market. Users are encouraged to verify clearance with their specific brace manufacturer or community forums prior to installation. This intake is also legal for use in SCCA Production and STR classes.
