This kit improves airflow between the turbo and engine for enhanced efficiency, throttle response, and quicker turbo spool up. It eliminates common weak points in the factory design, such as angled boots and a plastic Driver / Cold Side Intercooler Pipe, which can lead to boost leaks or complete failures in demanding applications. The Wehrli kit replaces the restrictive, small-diameter factory pipes with heavy-duty, high-flowing 3.5-inch diameter pipes, where the stock passenger/hot side pipe is only 2.75 inches in diameter. The kit includes upgraded high-quality silicone straight boots designed to withstand higher pressure and temperatures than OEM parts, increasing reliability and eliminating blown factory boots. Made in the USA from high-strength, heavy-duty 14-gauge aluminum tubing with smooth, aerodynamic mandrel bends for increased durability and optimized flow.
