The Wehrli Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit for 2007.5-2010 LMM 6.6L Duramax equipped Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 / 3500 HD trucks combines a Stage 2 High Flow Bundle and a 3" Stainless Steel Down Pipe. This kit is designed to improve air and exhaust flow for the turbo and engine, leading to enhanced efficiency, throttle response, and quicker turbo spool-up. It addresses weak points in the factory design that can lead to power loss, boost leaks, and failures in demanding applications. The kit includes a high-flow fabricated intake pipe, intake horn, and air box enclosure with a dry filter assembly, replacing restrictive plastic factory parts. It significantly increases airflow, resulting in improved horsepower, torque, and cooler intake temperatures by drawing cold air through the inner fender. Constructed from durable 14-gauge aluminum, it features large diameter 4-inch piping with smooth, aerodynamic bends, enhancing intake air velocity, volume, and providing a more aggressive engine and turbo sound. The 4.8-inch turbo intake horn is claimed to be the largest on the market, offering a 20% airflow improvement over stock. High-quality hardware, silicone boots, seals, and stainless steel t-bolt clamps ensure optimal durability and easy installation. A removable air box lid allows for easy inspection and maintenance of the WCFab filter, which includes a hydrophobic pre-filter cover to protect the MAF sensor, turbo, and engine airways from contaminants. The Stage 3 kit also upgrades the restricted 2.5-inch diameter driver (hot) side intercooler pipe and the leak-prone plastic/rubber passenger (cold) side pipe with WCFab's heavy-duty 3-inch diameter 1-piece Driver (Hot) Side and 3.5-inch diameter Passenger (Cold) Side LMM Intercooler Pipes. These are made in the USA from high-strength, heavy-duty 14-gauge aluminum tube with smooth, aerodynamic mandrel bends for increased durability and optimized flow. The 3-inch Driver Side pipe includes high-quality reinforced silicone boots and stainless t-bolt clamps for superior temperature resistance and boost pressure holding capabilities. The 3.5-inch Passenger Side pipe is stated to improve airflow over the stock part by 47%. It features CNC machined flanges with double o-ring seals and an upgraded silicone hump boot to withstand higher boost pressures. The kit's signature high-flow 3" Y-Bridge Kit replaces the OEM upper intake manifold, providing a much improved, bolt-together style two-piece 3" bridge with a secure sealing surface. This system offers a full 3" tract from the intercooler pipe slip connection to the engine, incorporating the factory grid heater and EGR connection controls for emissions-compliant performance. The kit is completed with a 3" Stainless Steel Down Pipe, which improves exhaust flow after the turbocharger by increasing the flow area and removing OEM restrictions. The full assembly is available in various custom powder coat colors. It is compatible with stock trucks and does not require tuning.
