Overview

The CTS Turbo High-Flow Cat Downpipe is constructed from 3" T304 seamless stainless steel and features 100% TIG welding for durability. It includes T304 stainless steel flanges, O2 bungs, and stainless steel clamps.

This downpipe is compatible with specific Audi and Volkswagen models, including the MK1 VW Tiguan and 8U Audi Q3 (2009-2017) with 1.8T/2.0T engines, as well as the MK6 Golf R, MK2 Audi TT/TTS, and 8P Audi A3/S3 (2006-2014) with 2.0T engines. Proper software tuning is required to remove the check engine light (CEL) that will occur after installation.

The CTS Turbo High-Flow Cat Downpipe is meticulously crafted from 3" T304 seamless stainless steel tubing, ensuring longevity and resistance to corrosion. Its construction involves 100% TIG welding for maximum strength and integrity, complemented by T304 stainless steel flanges, O2 bungs, and stainless steel clamps. The larger 3" diameter piping facilitates smoother exhaust gas flow from the turbo and wastegate, reducing turbulence and ultimately increasing power and torque across the entire powerband. This makes it a potent modification, especially for vehicles equipped with the K04 turbocharger. For emissions compliance and inspection purposes, an optional high-flow catalytic converter is available to satisfy visual checks. **Important Note:** Proper software tuning is required to prevent or remove the check engine light (CEL) that will inevitably illuminate after installation of this downpipe. The manufacturer offers a 2-year warranty on this product.
