The CTS Turbo High Flow Cat Pipe is engineered as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory catalytic converter on 2017-2020 Audi A4, A5, and ALLROAD models equipped with 1.8T and 2.0T engines. This upgrade aims to improve exhaust flow, leading to substantial power gains, a more aggressive exhaust note, and better overall performance. Constructed from T304 stainless steel, the pipe features a 3-inch diameter with smooth mandrel bends for optimal flow. It incorporates a 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter designed to minimize restriction while still performing its emissions-control function. The design includes a nearly 4-inch flare that tapers to 3 inches to facilitate a smooth transition of exhaust gases from the turbocharger. For enhanced tuning capabilities, an extra O2 bung is provided to accommodate wide-band sensor installations. All necessary installation hardware is included to simplify the mounting process. Installation of this high-flow cat pipe may trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL). To prevent this, proper tuning software is required. The product comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
