Description

The USP Motorsports 2.5L Rabbit/Jetta High Flow Catalytic Converter is a performance-oriented exhaust component designed to replace the factory catalytic converter for improved flow and power output. It is constructed with 2.5-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel piping and features a high-flow catalytic converter to minimize restrictions. The unit comes equipped with two oxygen sensor ports and includes a plug, offering flexibility for various setups. This catalytic converter is compatible with both PZEV and Non-PZEV motor configurations, ensuring broader application. Installation of this high-flow catalytic converter is reported to yield a solid gain of 10-15 wheel horsepower and 10-15 ft-lbs of torque. Dyno results have been documented with vehicles such as a 2007 Rabbit (150hp motor) and a 2008 Rabbit (170hp motor), showing improvements with the addition of this catted downpipe in conjunction with other modifications like software tuning, intakes, and cat-back exhaust systems.
