The CTS Turbo High-Flow CATS are engineered to enhance exhaust flow and unlock maximum power gains for your BMW S63 engine, specifically fitting the F10 M5/M5C and F06/F12/F13 M6/M6C models. These performance downpipes are designed using advanced CAD technology to seamlessly replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters, ensuring a perfect fit. Constructed from durable CAST T304 stainless steel, each catalytic converter boasts a 200-cell count, classifying them as race cats. The construction involves meticulous hand TIG welding with back-purging, guaranteeing years of reliable performance and longevity. With a full 3-inch diameter piping from the turbochargers to the exhaust connection, these units are built to facilitate unrestricted exhaust flow, providing a significant power upgrade. Beyond performance, these high-flow cats dramatically alter the exhaust note, producing a louder, deeper growl with a more pronounced "crackle" during downshifts and a confident "punch!" during upshifts. The sound is even more aggressive when paired with an aftermarket exhaust system, while remaining subtle during cruising without any drone when connected to the factory exhaust. It is crucial to note that proper stage 2 tuning software must be used to avoid triggering a Check Engine Light (CEL) after installation.
