The Active Autowerke High Flow Catted Downpipes are engineered to enhance the performance of specific BMW models, including the F80 M3, F82 M4, F83 M4, and F87 M2 Competition, all equipped with the S55 3.0L engine. These downpipes are crafted from durable TIG-welded 304 stainless steel and feature a cast upper V-band for a secure and precise fitment. The integrated GESI EPA-registered G-Sport catalytic converters are designed for high flow while remaining OBD2 compliant, ensuring they will not produce a Check Engine Light (CEL). These downpipes offer a less restrictive, more free-flowing exhaust path, leading to quicker turbo spool and improved throttle response. Drivers can expect enhanced low-end and mid-range performance, along with the potential for higher boost levels. The ultra-high flow 400-cell per square inch catalyst can reach operational efficiency within 9 seconds of startup and withstands temperatures up to 1500F. Installation is designed to be a direct bolt-on process, requiring no cutting or welding, and they accept the OEM O2 sensor heat shield. It is important to note that these downpipes are not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board. The catalytic converter component is covered by a 5 Year / 50,000 Mile Warranty.
