The BBK Performance mid-pipe kit is engineered to connect BBK Long Tube Headers (part #1648 and #16480) to the rest of the exhaust system on 2006-2024 Dodge Challenger and Charger models equipped with 6.1L, 6.4L, and Hellcat 6.2L V8 engines. This kit features high-flow catalytic converters to improve exhaust flow and is constructed from mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, contributing to a more aggressive exhaust note and potential gains in horsepower and torque when paired with compatible BBK long tube headers. Installation requires O2 extension harnesses (Part #11181). While not always mandatory, a handheld tuner is recommended for newer models to prevent potential catalyst under-temp codes, as even high-flow cat systems can sometimes trigger check engine lights. This mid-pipe is not legal for use in California or states with similar emissions standards; always check local regulations for compliance. BBK Performance offers a 1-year warranty on its parts.
