The PRL Motorsports air filter is a high-flow, drop-in replacement designed for the 2018-2022 Honda Accord 2.0T, compatible with all variant models including 10AT and 6MT transmissions, as well as RHD and International models. This filter is engineered to last a lifetime with proper maintenance, utilizing a double-layer woven cotton media with deep, dense pleats to increase filtration surface by 10%-15%. This design promotes greater airflow into the combustion chamber while maintaining superior filtration, capable of trapping particles as small as 5 microns. Encased in a stainless steel mesh, the filter resists dents and provides strength for demanding conditions. The manufacturing process involves a four-step, low-pressure injection molding technique that bonds the rubber base to the interior components, virtually eliminating rubber seepage that can obstruct airflow in other filters. The flexible rubber base ensures a consistent, airtight seal, absorbs vibration, and withstands numerous heat cycles. Additionally, a specially designed, lightweight filter lubricant creates a positive charge on the stainless steel mesh, attracting negatively charged dust particles and keeping the cotton media clear for maximum airflow.
