The PRL Motorsports High-Flow Drop-In Air Filter is engineered to be a direct replacement for your stock filter in 2018-2022 Honda Accord 1.5T vehicles. This filter utilizes a double-layer woven cotton media, featuring deep, dense pleats that increase the filtration surface area by 10-15%. This expanded surface promotes a greater volume of air entering the combustion chamber, contributing to improved performance. The construction of this filter is robust, with each element encased in stainless steel mesh to resist dents and ensure longevity under demanding conditions. The manufacturing process involves a four-step, low-pressure injection molding technique that bonds the rubber base to the interior components, virtually eliminating rubber seepage that can obstruct airflow.
