High-Flow In-Tank Fuel Pump

The AEM 50-1200 is a high-flow, in-tank fuel pump engineered for demanding performance applications. Its robust internal construction is specifically designed to handle the low lubricity characteristics of ethanol and methanol fuels, offering compatibility with E100 ethanol, M100 methanol, and all types of gasoline. This pump is tested to flow 340 liters per hour (LPH) at 40 PSI, making it suitable for high-output naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles. The compact 39mm diameter ensures fitment in most applications, and the offset inlet design simplifies installation. Each pump is individually tested before packaging to ensure quality. The kit includes the fuel pump, a rubber sleeve and end caps, a pre-filter, and a flying lead. The pump features a steel body, a black pump body color, and operates with both carbureted and EFI fuel systems. It has a PRV activation of 80 PSI and a single scroll ceramic turbine impeller design. Installation notes indicate that the universal pre-filter may not fit all vehicle applications, and users should refer to OEM recommendations for filter replacement. The factory fuel pump wiring may not be sufficient for the current draw of this high-flow pump, and proper wiring is crucial. Polarity of the electrical plug must be correct, and either re-pinning or using the supplied plug is an option. While the pump is the same physical size as many OEM pumps, specific application appropriateness should be verified using the vehicle search function on the manufacturer's website. Modifications to the fuel tank to accommodate the pump are not condoned and will void the warranty.
