The Racingline High Flow Pre-Cats offer a performance-oriented solution for the 2004-2008 Nissan Maxima, serving as a direct alternative to failed OEM pre-cat units. These units are engineered to be a 100% bolt-on performance upgrade, designed to replace malfunctioning factory pre-catalytic converters without the need for extensive modifications. Constructed with a tig-welded 304 stainless steel body and featuring a fully metallic core substrate, these high-flow cats are designed to exceed the flow capacity of OEM units. This enhanced flow is claimed to result in a performance gain of 8 horsepower and 14 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The 3-way ODBII compliant design aims to prevent Check Engine Lights (CEL) or Service Engine Soon (SES) lights. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with an estimated completion time of under 4 hours, significantly less than the 8-10 hours often required for custom header setups. Additionally, these units weigh 10 lbs less than the OEM components they replace.
